NACCI holds 1st Convention 2026 at Kohima

Kohima, October 22 (MExN): The Nagaland Association of Child Care Institutions (NACCI) held its 1st Convention 2026 under the theme “United in Care, Committed to Every Child” at SIRD Auditorium, Kohima on October 22.The convention was hosted by Abi Angami and graced by Limawabang Jamir, IAS, Secretary, Social Welfare, Government of Nagaland as the special guest. In his speech, Jamir lauded the contributions of Child Care Institutions and assured continued support.He also released the first edition of NACCI Newsletter.The programme commenced with an invocation by Sr Faustina CMC, followed by a welcome song presented by Kevi Children Home.Mengukhrietuo Marcus Dzuvichu, President NACCI delivered the welcome address while special number was presented by Pezet Newme.A short speech was delivered by. K Ela on behalf of NACCI.The convention also marked the announcement of the new team of NACCI office bearers: President- Mengukhrietuo Marcus Dzuvichu, Vice President-Melekho Keyho, Secretary-Alenuo, Joint Secretary-Kenongonu Cynthia Soleho, Treasurer- Nzano P Kikon. The Advisors includes; K Ela, NT Kikon, Neibanuo and Hamkai. The convention concluded with vote of thanks and benediction pronounced by Nzano P Kikon.
