The Dallas Cowboys received some much-needed good news ahead of their NFL Week 6 matchup with the
Green Bay Packers. CeeDee Lamb was seen limping on the sidelines during Dallas’ Week 5 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, creating legitimate concern about whether the star wide receiver would be available this week.

Instead, the Cowboys can breathe a major sigh of relief after Lamb returned to practice and was a full participant Wednesday. Now, his full participation in Wednesday’s practice provides a strong indication that he should be ready to go Sunday night in Green Bay.

Cowboys avoid potentially massive offensive setback
Had Lamb been unable to play, or even entered the week as a questionable player with significant limitations, the Cowboys would have faced a much more difficult challenge against the Packers.
Lamb is the centerpiece of Dallas’ passing game and had been putting together an outstanding season before the injury scare. Through four games, he had already recorded 37 catches for 498 yards and four touchdowns, including a spectacular 17-catch, 189-yard performance against Houston in Week 4.
His absence would have placed even more pressure on Dak Prescott and George Pickens to carry the passing attack. Pickens did have nine catches for 130 yards and a touchdown against Tampa Bay, but Dallas ultimately struggled to overcome three second-half turnovers in the 24-16 loss.
Having Lamb healthy gives the Cowboys their best chance to bounce back.
Cowboys and Packers enter Week 6 in very different situations

That makes Sunday night’s matchup even more intriguing. Dallas enters the game at 2-3 after an ugly loss to Tampa Bay, while Green Bay sits at 3-2 following a much different Week 5 result.
For the Cowboys, getting Lamb back removes one major question heading into a critical road game. His presence changes the way Green Bay has to defend Dallas, particularly after the receiver demonstrated earlier this season that he can completely take over a game.
Lamb has already topped 100 receiving yards three times this season, and his 32.4% target share entering Week 6 ranked among the NFL’s highest at the position.
The Cowboys still have plenty to fix after their Week 5 collapse, but Lamb’s return gives them a significantly better chance to do it.
