'The booing was loud and clear'
Tom Collomosse, Daily Mail Sport's Midlands reporter, at Villa Park:
This is Manchester City’s first away games since Anfield and though there are still only a smattering of people in the ground, the booing was loud and clear just now when they emerged for the warm-up.
This weekend's Premier League line-up
There may just be four games on this Premier League Saturday, but it should be a good one, with a tasty London derby to look forward to later.
Here's this weekend's Premier League schedule:
Friday
- Ipswich 1-1 Nottingham Forest
Saturday
- Aston Villa v Manchester City (12.30pm)
- Arsenal v Everton (3pm)
- Coventry City v Fulham (3pm)
- Chelsea v Tottenham (5.30pm)
Sunday
- Crystal Palace v Newcastle (2pm)
- Hull City v Brentford (2pm)
- Liverpool v Brighton (2pm)
- Man United v Bournemouth (2pm)

'Alysson deserves to be included after his outstanding display'
Tom Collomosse, Daily Mail Sport's Midlands reporter, at Villa Park:
Manzambi’s inclusion is a huge boost for Villa – he has been very impressive in his early appearances for them, and Alysson deserves to be included after his outstanding display against Viking. I wonder if it will be Alysson right, McGinn at No10, Manzambi left. We’ll see soon enough.
'The headline team news from a City perspective is that Phil Foden drops to the bench'
Jack Gaughan, Daily Mail Sport's Man City reporter, at Villa Park:
The headline team news from a City perspective is that Phil Foden drops to the bench after his midweek hat-trick. The decision can probably be explained by the fact that Matheus Nunes misses out through injury, so Abdukodir Khusanov fills in at right back. Nunes gets up and down the flank in a way that allows Foden to float inside, whereas Khusanov doesn't.
Aston Villa Team News: Unai Emery makes FOUR changes
Unai Emery has also made four changes to his starting line-up after beating Viking 3-1 during the week.
Johan Manzambi is back in the XI, alongside Matty Cash, Ian Maatsen and Boubacar Kamara.
In-form Emi Buendia, Tyrone Mings, Ross Barkley and Ibrahim Mbaye make way.
Man City Team News: Erling Haaland returns
Enzo Maresca has made four changes to the side that thrashed AEK Athens during the week.
Erling Haaland comes back into the starting line-up, while Iliman Ndiaye, Jeremy Doku and Marc Guehi all return.
Phil Foden, Tyrone Samba, Allan and Rico Lewis make way.
