No human being can be a demi-god. In fact, to think of any human being as a demi-god is to be guilty of the highest level of blasphemy. To accuse a person like me of being a demi-god or to claim that I am not one is to confirm that a generation is emerging in The Gambia that has no role model.
A generation must have values and principles that they hold dear. They must judge their elders on the basis of whether they are adhering to those values and principles in words and deeds. A generation that sets itself against elders whose hearts beat in unison with the heartbeat of those who are alienated from the power and wealth of their countries is a generation that can never eradicate the suffering of their people.
Consequently, they transform society into a jungle without values where the fittest survive. It is amazing that any negative comment or images could be derived from a press conference whose fundamental objective was focused on handing Gambia back to her people as well as giving the country a new start with clean hands.
I will expose the attempt to focus the narrative away from the two fundamental clarion calls of Team Gambia Grand Coalition 2026 to manufacture a debate on whether I was going to make a comeback or not. How such an act could be equated to that of a demi-god could only be conceived by a mind that is no longer ready to distinguish facts from fiction. Anybody who sides with fiction writers and shows contempt for those who publish the truth in good faith in the public interest are responsible for what our society has become today.
However, I am aware that the new generation is waiting to be nurtured to be able to distinguish fact from fiction so that they will become the architects of their own destiny. Even though I risk being accused of addressing every issue I see a greater evil in allowing the minds of innocent young people to be transformed into a playing field of those who do not treasure the clarion calls of Team Gambia Grand Coalition 2026 that has promised to serve and save country by giving it a new start with clean hands
