Dennico Hollis will share his experiences as a speaker at the FrayStar Cricket Institute Gratitude and Appreciation Banquet at Pier 6 in Hamilton on November 1.
The former Bermuda national team all-rounder, who plays for Bailey’s Bay, joined FrayStar Cricket Institute as a coach last year after spending seven years in Scotland, where he played for LOC Hire Stenhousemuir Cricket Club.
“From the cricket fields of Bermuda to playing several years in Scotland, coach Dennico Hollis brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective on the game,” read a FrayStar Cricket Institute social media post.
“Since returning to Bermuda, Dennico has been actively involved in developing young cricketers through FrayStar Cricket Institute and Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club, sharing his knowledge and passion for the sport.
“At our Gratitude and Appreciation Banquet, coach Dennico will share his experiences playing overseas, his views on the differences between cricket in Bermuda and the UK, and what he believes we can learn to improve the development of our young players.
“Different experiences. Different perspectives. One shared passion for cricket!”
“Come and hear from someone who has experienced cricket both at home and abroad and is now giving back to the next generation.”
Since launching two years ago, FrayStar Cricket Institute has provided a nurturing environment where boys and girls aged five to 17 can learn the fundamentals of cricket while developing essential life skills.
