A couple was killed after an unidentified vehicle ran them over while they were walking along the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Daudkandi upazila of Cumilla early today (13 October).
The deceased were identified as Nazrul Islam, 62, from Jinglatali village in the upazila, and his wife Jharna Begum, 48.
