Last night, the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show saw an army of top models hit the catwalk in L.A.: Stars like Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Anok Yai, and Alex Consani all sauntered down the runway—donning their most extravagant angel wings, of course. While the main event was obviously the splashy spectacle, the official VS after-party (at Chateau Marmont) was just as star-studded.
Post-show, all the Angels let their hair down and danced the night away at the private bash—bringing their finest party looks to the function. Hadid, for one, continued with the lingerie-inspired fare seen on the runway: The model rolled up to the legendary hotel in a black lace body-con mini dress, its sheer fabrication exposing her black bra and briefs underneath. Don’t forget the sleek black shades and pointed pumps, either.

While Hadid’s all-black look could have easily been a look in the VS show, the ensemble has us thinking about another pop culture reference. . . that is, it’s giving Britney Spears circa the 2001 MTV VMAs.
The princess of pop famously attended the awards ceremony wearing an itty-bitty Dolce & Gabbana lace dress, and it’s a red carpet moment that has been cited and recreated endlessly since. (Tate McRae, who performed on the VS runway last night, also revived the styling at the 2024 MTV VMAs.)

On Hadid, the sexy going-out look feels just as fresh—and totally fitting to wrap-up a very busy VS Fashion Show weekend, where lingerie and naked dressing is the name of the game (not to mention a burgeoning spring 2027 runway trend). Ahead of Halloween, Hadid’s homage to Britney also had us thinking about other iconic red carpet looks one could recreate as a costume. The Bjork swan dress! Celine Dion’s backwards tuxedo! The options are endless. Get thinking, folks!
