Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of party leader, former former member of the Punjab Assembly, Makhdoom Pir Arif Zaman Qureshi.
In a condolence message, Bilawal Bhutto extended his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the deceased’s son, senior PPP leader Haider Zaman Qureshi, and other members of the bereaved family.
He said that Makhdoom Pir Arif Zaman Qureshi had rendered valuable services to the party and that his political contributions would always be remembered. Bilawal Bhutto prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the departed soul forgiveness and a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous.
He also prayed for patience, strength and courage for the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
