Clueso, the agentic video platform for business founded by IIT Madras alumni, has raised $10 million in a Series A round of funding led by Dharana Capital, with Founders Future and Neotribe Ventures joining as new investors.
The round also saw participation from Y Combinator and f7 Ventures. This round brings the total fund raised to $12 million.
Founded in 2023 by Akash Anand, Prajwal Prakash, and Neel Balar, Clueso is based out of California and Bengaluru. It plans to use the funding to scale its enterprise go-to-market reach, deepen its agentic layer, and expand editing capabilities.
The startup says more than 1,000 companies use its platform to create videos for functions such as marketing, customer success and education, onboarding and training. Customers include Atlassian, Zendesk, Gainsight, GlobalPartners, Seismic, and Ironclad. Clueso claims that users have reported productivity gains of over 5x and an 80% reduction in video production costs.
Clueso's co-founder & CEO Akash Anand noted that the company started out by helping customer-facing teams create product tutorials faster. “We quickly saw the same problem across marketing, sales, training and internal documentation. That made us realise the opportunity was much bigger. Today, Clueso acts as an AI video production team that anyone or any team in the organisation can rely on, handling the work of creating, editing and maintaining videos as the business moves.”
Clueso is building AI agents that understand a company’s products, processes, brand and context, and then use that knowledge to create and maintain video across the organisation.
Vamsi Duvvuri, Founder and Managing Partner at Dharana Capital said, “With AI, video is evolving from static media files into living, context-aware assets that continuously adapt as business processes and products change. Clueso is building the infrastructure powering this shift.”
