Verizon wants its customers to know they're getting more than just network access, and today it has listed all the perks that come with its plans at no extra cost. These cover safety, family, AI, and loyalty rewards, and some of them you may not have noticed so far.
On the safety front, the free tier of Verizon Digital Secure protects connected devices from malicious websites and vulnerabilities. Verizon is currently offering one month of Verizon Digital Secure Premium for free too, so you can try out its extra safety tools. Verizon Family, with location sharing and Safe Walk, is included as well, and so is Call Filter, which identifies and blocks spam calls - the carrier calls it "a personal bouncer for your smartphone".
Eligible customers can also get six months of Google AI Pro for free. Then there's the Verizon Loyalty program, which all postpaid customers on all phone and connected device plans can opt into. It waives activation and upgrade fees, which saves you up to $40 per device. It also gives you 3% back in Verizon Dollars every month, which you can redeem for devices (including the latest smartphones), accessories, gift cards, or hotel rewards. You opt into Verizon Dollars in one step through the My Verizon app.
Finally, Verizon Shine lets customers enter weekly for a chance to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences, alongside daily drops that include concert and sporting event tickets, exclusive merchandise, gift cards, and more. Upcoming experiences include a visit to Walt Disney Studios (October 19), a Radio City Rockettes experience (October 26), a conversation with Caleb Pressley (November 2), and a Jonas Brothers show where you get to hang out with Joe (November 9).
