“I’m the first one to love nostalgia,” Adam Selman told me ahead of the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. “But I also need to chart [the show] into new territory. A lot of what the fans say they want is 20 or 25 years ago, which culture has moved on from. How do you give it to them in a modern context?”
Tonight, Selman stayed true to his promise with a no-holds-barred fashion-and-entertainment spectacle, bringing together VSFS signatures—lingerie, performances, and, yes, a fantasy bra—with renewed energy. For his second runway show at the helm and the event’s first return to Los Angeles in 19 years, the executive creative director divided the runway into chapters dedicated to each season. “The show is so big that a simple idea is a great starting place,” he noted. “I connected words and emotions to each season as I went to.

To start, Bella Hadid made her long-awaited return to the runway in a see-through petal-green mini skirt and wings sprouting with flora and fauna. Then came Adriana Lima, Ashley Graham, and Alex Consani dressed in everything from rosette-adorned corsetry to a teensy-tiny mini dress engulfed in petals worn by Anok Yai. “Florals for spring, groundbreaking, I know,” Selman joked.
The designer, who began crafting stage costumes for the likes of Beyoncé and Rihanna, excels at theatrical dressing—as evidenced by the extravagant wings and laboriously sequined looks throughout.

The catwalk then segued into “Vintage Victoria,” a run of bias-cut slips in an array of pastel hues. Their silhouettes nodded to the brand’s late-’90s and early-aughts archive. “Fans always say they love that the brand used to do a lot of event dressing and slip dressing and fun, colorful prints,” Selman explains. Now in his second year at the helm, he’s bringing those familiar codes into the present in more ways than one.
The brand brought its devoted fan base, which was out in full force at Sony Studios, deeper into the fun with Angels Among Us, a docuseries following the nationwide hunt for its newest Angel. Solange Omon won the title and made her runway debut to loud applause in black-and-white lace lingerie, gilded wings, and a flowing cape.

While it was easy to lose sight of the clothes amid the spectacle, there was plenty to take in. The more everyday Pink offering featured crystal-embellished low-rise pants, ab-baring bandage dresses in punchy patterns, and playful logo-heavy separates. A crystal-covered mesh dress worn over a skin-toned bra, meanwhile, felt poised to lead the next wave of naked dressing.

The soundtrack was a draw, too: Tate McRae performed her new hit “Housewife,” which played as Gigi Hadid returned to the runway, while Katseye performed “Pinky Up.” Megan Thee Stallion’s hit “Body” felt tailor-made for the occasion. At one point, Adéla’s “Nicole Kidman” came on, prompting a laugh from Kidman herself in the audience.

One of the night’s biggest moments—and a neat summation of Selman’s balance of pop culture and nostalgia—came when Kylie Jenner modeled the Fantasy Bra. The $50 million design, created with jeweler Jacob & Co., marked the showpiece’s return to the runway for the first time since 2018. Jenner’s star power, with boyfriend Timothée Chalamet watching from the audience, made the Fantasy Bra’s return a pop-culture moment in its own right.
“This really is a mashup of fashion, culture, product, entertainment,” Selman explained. “What is the purpose beyond the glitz and beyond the glamour? And for me, this year was a conversation with the fans. I always say internally, ‘Let’s do the thing that only Victoria’s Secret can do. Let’s do the thing that only Pink can do.’ And I say it over and over.”
