Cedi buys at 11.65 to a Dollar on Monday - BoG Rate

Per the rate from the Bank of Ghana on Monday, October 19, the Cedi was buying at 11.6592 per dollar.

It sold at 11.6708 per Dollar.

For the Pound, it bought at 15.5370 and sold at 15.5537.

Recently, the Bank of Ghana Governor Dr Johnson Pandit Asiama indicated that the Cedi had so far recorded a significant recovery against major international currencies, external reserves have been strengthened, and economic activity has gained momentum across sectors.

More importantly, he said, growth has become increasingly broad-based, supported by improvements in services and agriculture, alongside a gradual recovery in industry.

"These developments have contributed to creating a more stable and predictable environment for businesses and investors," he said during the launch of the Ghana Investment Promotion (GIPC) 2025 Annual Investment Report.
