Tool advent calendars have been all the rage this early holiday season, but Home Depot may have raised the bar. Earlier this month, the home retailer debuted its latest, and probably most out-of-the-box, holiday essential: a limited edition Home Depot ugly sweater.
The first drop flew off the shelves on its first go-round, but there’s light at the end of the tunnel: the brand just dropped another wave of sweaters. This is more than just a sweater, though—it’s essentially a tool belt with some much-needed holiday cheer.
The super-limited-edition bundle is just as functional as it is, well, ugly. It also features some of our favorite tool brands wrapped into one. The design is inspired by the classic Home Depot apron (the one worn by the same employees your dad always claims he knows more than), and it’s loaded with goodies. For $30, it includes a Husky rechargeable headlamp, a DeWalt level, Command outdoor light clips, and a mechanical pencil. To top it all off, there’s one last stocking stuffer (or in this case, apron stuffer): a $50 peppermint-scented gift card for an item of your choice. The sweater is unisex and comes in sizes XS-XXL.
We’re talking about $150 worth of stuff for just $30 here. Even if you hate the sweater (or you know the person you’re buying it for will), it’s still an unbelievable deal. It’s no shocker that it sold out almost immediately. This is easily one of the best holiday bundles of the year, especially for the special handyman in your life.
