The Serbian Radical Party (SRS), led by Vojislav Seselj, on Wednesday called on its members and supporters to assemble in Novi Sad on Friday, October 16, to show massive support for the “Aleksandar Vucic – United Serbia” electoral list. The list is built around the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and includes candidates from the Radical Party.
“For the survival of Serbia as an independent, sovereign, and free state, a decisive victory for this electoral list - in which we sincerely believe, on which we have our own candidates, and which we support with all our heart and strength - is absolutely essential,” the party said.
According to the SRS, a victory for the “Aleksandar Vucic - United Serbia” list will permanently “extinguish the color revolution and liberate the state and its people from the pressure of foreign centers of power, which are attempting to use their political favorites to revive the ghosts of separatism and autonomy among Serbs.”
