Opposition calls for Select Committee to probe Kawantissa’s death

Colombo, Oct. 21 (Daily Mirror) - Opposition MPs, including Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, have begun signing a motion calling for the appointment of a select committee to probe the death of tusker Kawantissa.

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MPs and other parliamentarians, including Dilith Jayaweera and Ramanathan Archchuna, have already signed the motion.
