Florida State football (3-4, 1-3 ACC) enters its bye week with little time to dwell on a heartbreaking double-overtime loss to rival Miami.
With five games remaining and bowl eligibility still within reach, the Seminoles' final stretch could determine not only the trajectory of their season but also whether they can finish with a winning record under coach Mike Norvell.
After navigating one of the toughest portions of their schedule, FSU returns to action by hosting Clemson (4-2, 2-1) on Halloween night at Doak Campbell Stadium. The Seminoles then travel to face Boston College (3-3, 1-2) and Pittsburgh (5-2, 2-2) before closing the regular season at home against North Carolina State (3-3, 1-2) and Florida (5-2, 3-2 SEC).
The upcoming slate presents opportunities, but little margin for error. FSU's performance over the final five games will likely shape the narrative of the 2026 season and could determine whether the Seminoles secure bowl eligibility and finish above .500.
That raises the question: Can FSU finish the season with a winning record?
