Buffalo Bills safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson made headlines for the wrong reasons yet again on Sunday.
The 28-year-old defender was ejected from the Bills' 33-30 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 6 after spitting in the direction of tight end Brock Bowers.
Gardner-Johnson received heavy backlash following the incident from the likes of Stephen A. Smith and Rob Gronkowski.
The NFL responded on Monday by issuing a one-game suspension to the controversial journeyman player and Buffalo head coach Joe Brady discussed the situation as well.
It's a good thing that Brady caught himself before comparing Gardner-Johnson's immature act to running back James Cook's fumbling issue, because putting those two things in the same sentence would be absurd.

Brady and the Bills knew what they were getting themselves into when they signed the former Super Bowl champion in March and fortunately this time, Gardner-Johnson's actions didn't cost the team a win.
The Florida product was last ejected from a game during his time with the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 16 of the 2024 season while playing the Washington Commanders.
Gardner-Johnson has started each of Buffalo's first six games this season and has recorded 26 tackles, two passes defended and one interception.
He's with his sixth different team since the 2021 campaign after opening his career with three seasons with the New Orleans Saints.
Gardner-Johnson has posted 57 passes defended and 21 interceptions across 93 career regular season contests, as well as five passes defended and one interception in 14 playoff games.
