Milos Jovanovic, who heads the “Authentic Right” electoral list, said at a public forum in the city of Nis that the core question of the October 25 elections is whether Serbia will take responsibility for solving its own problems, warning that the country must not see a repeat of 2012 when “nation-oriented Serbia brought a traitorous regime to power.”

“We will fight the mafia and we will win, but it is far more important that we do not allow a repeat of 2012, when nation-oriented Serbia brought this traitorous regime to power and when it was deceived,” the New Democratic Party of Serbia (NDSS) quoted its leader Jovanovic as saying.
Jovanovic assessed that the Authentic Right stands alone on the public stage, but stressed that without its presence in parliament, there will be no change in government, let alone a change in policy.
He said that many are expecting help from abroad, most of all from Brussels, but noted that along that path, Serbia is being asked to give up Kosovo and Metohija, as well as to accept positions regarding the Srebrenica genocide and Serbs’ responsibility for the breakup of the former Yugoslavia.
He also reiterated that the Authentic Right list, which comprises the NDSS and the Monarchists, is against imposing sanctions on Russia, which he referred to as an allied country that politically supports Serbia.
