Australians can now have more than 35,000 BIG W products delivered to their door in as fast as an hour under a new partnership with DoorDash.
The discount department store will launch on the delivery platform across 156 stores on Tuesday, with the service available to more than 80 per cent of Australians, according to the retailer.

Customers will be able to order everything from toys and electronics to clothing, beauty products, homewares and pet supplies through the DoorDash app and website.
Almost two-thirds of the products available through the platform will cost less than $20, with BIG W saying the service will give families faster access to everyday essentials.
The retailer said it was the first discount department store in Australia to offer on-demand delivery through DoorDash.
The nationwide rollout follows a 10-store trial launched on September 30, with plans to expand the service to additional locations by the end of October.
BIG W X director Jo Hicks said the partnership was designed to make shopping easier for busy families.
“We know family life is chaotic and that our customers are looking for ways to ease the pressure when time isn’t on their side,” Ms Hicks said.
“By partnering with DoorDash we’re helping make shopping with us even more convenient, whether that means getting an emergency activity to keep the kids busy, a set of glasses right before extra guests arrive, a last minute gift or a new outfit, customers can get what they need delivered in as fast as an hour without leaving home.”

The launch comes ahead of the Christmas shopping period, with customers able to order Halloween costumes, Christmas presents, summer essentials and Black Friday specials through the platform.
BIG W previously introduced a same-day delivery service powered by DoorDash in May.
The retailer said demand for that service had been strong, with small appliances, nursery products, toys and bed linen among the most popular purchases.
DoorDash Asia-Pacific vice president Simon Rossi said the expanded partnership would give Australians more shopping options.
“BIG W’s huge range makes this an exciting addition to DoorDash,” Mr Rossi said.
“Whether it’s getting ready for Christmas or picking up something the family needs today, we’re making it easier to shop BIG W with delivery in as fast as 60 minutes.”
Orders will be available during participating BIG W stores’ trading hours, with most stores operating between 8am and 7pm.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed, while product availability will depend on stock at individual stores.
To mark the launch, customers spending at least $70 through DoorDash can receive 30 per cent off using the promotional code BIGWDEBUT.
The discount is capped at $25 and limited to one redemption per customer, with delivery and service fees still applying.
The offer runs until November 20 unless its redemption limit is reached earlier.
