Jude Bellingham has reached an agreement to extend his stay at Real Madrid until June 2031, per Spanish outlet AS.
The 23-year-old’s current deal will not expire until 2029, but the club are eager to tie him down to a new contract.
Negotiations over improved terms started towards the end of last season, with both parties on the same page from the beginning.
The England international feels increasingly settled with life in Spain, while the club supporters are also happy with his work rate and leadership skills.
Bellingham has established himself as a key first-team star at Madrid since joining from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2023.
He has helped his team win a La Liga title and a Champions League, bagging 49 goals in 150 appearances across all competitions.
Bellingham was struggling with a shoulder injury last year that negatively affected his performances on the pitch.
The issue eventually required surgery that kept him out of the game for several weeks.
The former Dortmund star hit top form at the end of last season and carried that momentum into the summer World Cup for England.
He scored seven goals in seven starts, helping his country claim third place at the tournament.
Bellingham has made an excellent start to the 2026-27 season under head coach Jose Mourinho.
He has started nine matches in all competitions, with six direct goal contributions to his name.
