NOSHAHRO FEROZE: At least four people were killed in a clash between two groups over a property dispute in Kandiaro, ARY News reported.
According to police, four people lost their lives and three others were wounded during an exchange of gunfire between the rival groups.
Police further stated that the bodies and the injured individuals were shifted to a nearby hospital.
A heavy contingent of police has also been dispatched to the scene, officials added.
Earlier, aA 21-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her husband just one and a half months after their love marriage in New Karachi, police said on Wednesday.
The victim, identified as Sawera, was found dead at her husband’s house. Her family has accused her husband, Sarfaraz, of being involved in her murder.
According to the victim’s mother, Zeenat, Sarfaraz was already married before marrying Sawera, making the marriage his second.
Zeenat alleged that other people were also involved in her daughter’s murder and called for a thorough investigation into the case.
She appealed to Sindh Inspector General of Police Javed Alam Odho to ensure protection for her family and bring those responsible to justice.
She also expressed concerns over the investigation, alleging that the police were not investigating the case properly.
Zeenat said Sawera was an orphan whom she had raised despite facing severe financial and personal difficulties. She demanded justice for her daughter and punishment for those responsible for her death.
Police said the investigation was ongoing and further action would be taken after the DNA report was received.
