ANYANG — Anyang in Gyeonggi Province will hold the 4th Anyang 1st Street NO.1 Festival on the 16th and 17th in the Anyang 1st Street district.
The event is designed to revitalize commercial activity in the old downtown area, with four local universities and the Anyang 1st Street Merchants Association taking part.
University clubs and students will perform street shows, while beauty experience booths will offer personal color analysis, makeup and nail art.
Other programs open to the public include caricature drawing, keyring making, an AI photo zone, tarot card readings and random play dance.
The food zone will be run by the merchants association and students from university culinary departments.
A magic show is scheduled for 8 p.m. on the 16th, followed by a celebratory performance by the singing duo Kyungseo, Yeji at 8 p.m. on the 17th.
"I hope Anyang 1st Street becomes a stage that cheers on young people's dreams," Mayor Choi Dae-ho said. "I expect residents will enjoy the festival together and help support local businesses."
