President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerian youths that they will not be excluded from his campaign, government or plans for the country’s future.
Tinubu gave the assurance on Monday, October 19, in Abuja during an event tagged ‘An Evening with the Original City Boy’, where he emphasised the importance of young people in shaping Nigeria’s future.
The President said his administration’s decisions were guided by the understanding that the country’s future belonged to the younger generation rather than his own.
“The youths will not be left behind. Not in this campaign, not in this government, nor in the Nigeria we’re building together,” Tinubu said.

“Nigeria is a promise, and it belongs to you. That future belongs to you,” he said.
Tinubu added that the responsibility of building a country for future generations remained a key consideration in his approach to governance.
“Something that guides me in this office is, the future of this country does not belong to me. It does not belong to my generation. It belongs to youths. And every decision I take, that truth sits at the back of my mind,” the President said.
