NCCIA connects 15 call systems across country for cybercrime complaints
Director General National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said police emergency 15 call systems operating in different provinces and major cities had been connected with NCCIA to make it easier for citizens to report cybercrime complaints.
According to an NCCIA official, the integration would allow cybercrime-related complaints received through police emergency 15 services to be forwarded to NCCIA for necessary action. DG Rizvi described the connection of emergency call systems across different provinces and major cities with NCCIA as a major development in improving public access to cybercrime complaint services.
Rizvi said the arrangement would help citizens report cybercrime incidents through existing emergency call systems and ensure that their complaints reached the relevant agency. The initiative is aimed at improving coordination between police emergency services and NCCIA and making the complaint process more convenient for citizens.
