Zlatan and his groomsmen also posed together in native Benin outfits, adding a strong cultural touch to the celebration.
Their coordinated appearance highlighted the importance of traditional fashion at Nigerian weddings.
The groom opted for a white traditional ensemble decorated with red bead details, complemented by layered coral necklaces, a matching cap and a carved staff.
Davita, meanwhile, wore a striking red, intricately beaded gown paired with multiple strands of coral beads, matching earrings and an elaborate traditional headpiece.
The couple’s outfits, particularly the use of coral beads, drew attention for their regal appearance and celebration of cultural heritage.
Couple’s Relationship and Family Life
The wedding celebration marks another chapter in the relationship between Zlatan and Davita, who have been together for several years and share two sons.
The couple had previously held a private civil ceremony, photographs of which emerged online in May 2026.
They subsequently announced October 24, 2026, as the date for their wedding celebration in a social media video featuring a voiceover from one of their children.
In the video, their son described the relationship between his parents in terms of love, support and family, adding a personal touch to the announcement.

The coordinated appearance of Zlatan and his groomsmen also attracted attention, with the matching native outfits adding to the visual appeal of the celebration.
Wedding Aso Ebi Attracts Attention
Preparations for the celebration had already generated conversations online before the wedding day.
On October 23, Davido’s associate, Israel DMW, shared details of his payment for the wedding’s aso ebi, revealing that he paid ₦1.2 million for the fabric.
The disclosure sparked debate among social media users over the cost of clothing for high-profile celebrity weddings.
Zlatan’s Journey in Nigerian Music
Zlatan rose to prominence in Nigeria’s music industry through his street-pop sound and the popularity of his hit song Zanku (Leg Work).
He has since established himself as a prominent figure in Afrobeats, releasing several songs and collaborating with other leading Nigerian artistes.
Although his music career frequently places him in the public eye, the singer has generally kept details of his family life relatively private.
His wedding celebration with Davita has now brought renewed attention to their relationship, with fans celebrating both their union and their embrace of Nigerian cultural traditions.
