The round was led by Airtree, supported by fellow Seed investors Square Peg, Rampersand and Glitch Capital.
The content marketing and ad analytics agency last raised $5.7m at a $100m valuation in March to launch in New York. Earlier raises include a Seed top up of $4.5m in August 2025, 12 months after banking $5.5m at a $44.5m valuation.
The Series A will support product development and expand Cuttable’s teams in Melbourne, New York and San Francisco.
Previously focused on making ads for Meta and TikTok, Cuttable’s expanded platform uses a brand’s advertising results, product catalogue and existing photography and video to recommend what to run next. Marketers retain editing control and final approval.
CEO and cofounder Sam Kroonenburg, who previously founded and successfully exited A Cloud Guru , said the advertising industry had been solving the wrong half of the problem.

“Everyone has taught AI to make ads. Almost nobody has taught the ads to learn,” he said.
“Every ad a brand runs tells it something about its customers, but most teams switch it off and start the next one from scratch. We hold onto what each ad learned and put it straight into the next.
“It’s what we set out to build from day one, and I’m incredibly proud of the team for getting us here. Early customer feedback has been amazing.”
The platform draws on data from Shopify and marketing tools including Klaviyo, Triple Whale and Motion. Stock levels can also influence which products are promoted, distinguishing between items nearing sellout and others a business needs to move.
Cuttable says it works with more than 440 ecommerce brands, including lululemon, Cotton On, July, Kathmandu and Conserving Beauty, in Australia, New Zealand, the US, Asia and Europe.
Analysing impact
After analysing more than 280,000 ads, covering US$260m in Meta spending by 680 ecommerce brands, Cuttable concluded that you need around 42 ads to find one that meaningfully improved business results. Just 1% of ads generated half of attributed revenue, while more than a third earned nothing.
Airtree Ventures partner James Cameron said Cuttable’s growth has been much faster than the VC’s high expectations.
“The world of ad creative is being turned on its head by AI, and we’re excited to lead this round as Cuttable becomes the leading system that performance marketers reach for to make content work harder,” he said.
Cuttable was founded in 2023 by Kroonberg, Jack White, cofounder of Melbourne ad agency Sunday Gravy, and former Swisse marketer Ed Ring.
