US spot Bitcoin ETFs finished the week with $301 million in net inflows. That breaks a two-week run of red.
The margin was thin, though. A strong Monday-to-Wednesday surge did most of the work, and Thursday and Friday spent a good chunk of it.
Bitcoin itself barely reacted. It traded around $80,490 after a 1% move, while traders on Myriad lifted the odds of a drop to $77,500 this month to 43%.
A week of two halves
The provisional weekly figure came in at $301.2 million for the trading days ending October 24. The prior two weeks had seen combined net outflows of approximately $910 million.
The daily breakdown reads like a mood ring. Monday brought $526.7 million in inflows, Tuesday added a modest $23.2 million, and Wednesday chipped in another $524.8 million.
That’s roughly $1.07 billion in fresh money across three sessions. Then the tone flipped.
Thursday saw $635.6 million leave the funds, the largest single-day outflow of the week. Friday followed with another $137.9 million in redemptions, according to Decrypt’s ETF tracker, marking the second straight day of exits.
Late-week outflows totaled $773.5 million. Subtract that from the early haul and you land at the $301.2 million net figure.
BlackRock carries the load
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, ticker IBIT, was the week’s biggest contributor. The fund pulled in $565.7 million week-to-date.
That number is larger than the total net inflow across all funds. The rest of the field, taken together, was net negative.
IBIT wasn’t immune to the late-week selling, either. It posted $110.3 million in outflows on Friday alone, the heaviest single-fund redemption that day.
Fidelity’s FBTC also saw money walk out, with $31.8 million in Friday outflows. The pattern suggests the late-week exit wasn’t confined to one issuer.
Ether funds went the other way
Spot Ether ETFs didn’t share in the recovery. They recorded a net outflow of about $221 million over the same week.
For Bitcoin, the week’s price action was remarkably contained. The asset stayed within a band of roughly $80,000 to $84,000, despite more than $1 billion swinging in and out of the funds.
Where the ETF complex stands
Total assets under management for US spot Bitcoin ETFs are now estimated between $104.7 billion and $109 billion. Cumulative net inflows have topped $57 billion since the products launched in January 2024.
What this means for investors
The prediction market data reinforces that caution. A 43% chance of Bitcoin hitting $77,500 this month, as priced by Myriad traders, means a meaningful slice of the market is bracing for further downside.
With Bitcoin sitting near $80,490, that target sits only a few percent below the current price.
With IBIT accounting for more than the entire category’s net inflow, the health of spot Bitcoin ETF demand leans heavily on one product.
The divergence with Ether ETFs is also worth tracking. A $221 million outflow from Ether products in a week when Bitcoin funds turned positive suggests investors may be consolidating toward Bitcoin rather than adding broad crypto exposure.
