A female K-Pop idol, whose ex-boyfriend recently made headlines for his upcoming marriage and admission of liking his fiancée for 20 years, divulged her views on dating.
On the October 22nd broadcast of SBS Power FM’s Cultwo Show, TVXQ’s Changmin joined as a special DJ, with former BBGIRLS member Nam Yujeong (also known as Nam You Joung) and B1A4’s CNU appearing as guests.

During the show, a caller shared that after dating a boyfriend who had been pursuing her for three years, she felt the relationship had cooled after she expressed her feelings.
Hearing this, Nam Yujeong said, “He must have spent a lot of time and money coming up with constant events. That wasn’t just ordinary effort,” highlighting the long-term efforts of the suitor.
CNU, referring to his experience watching dating reality shows, speculated, “I watched I Am SOLO, and one contestant said when someone likes them too much, their feelings cool down. Maybe that’s the feeling here.”
Kim Tae Gyun asked, “When you reject and play hard to get, it sparks competitiveness, but does that make the feelings disappear?” Nam Yujeong responded, “That’s a little scary,” showing she found it hard to understand.
CNU added, “If it lasts long, that could actually be tough. I think the woman would have a harder time.” Changmin commented, “Maybe people like the moment they like someone? But when it actually happens, they might think, ‘Ah, this is boring.’” Kim Tae Gyun agreed, saying, “There could be people like that.”
Later, Nam Yujeong shared the type of person she finds burdensome. She candidly said, “I tend to avoid people who are overly dramatic without saying much. When someone moves too fast, it feels overwhelming. I wonder if it can last long and doubt it.”
Nam Yujeong dated actor Lee Kyu Han publicly in 2023 but broke up the following year after one year. Lee Kyu Han recently made headlines by announcing a surprise marriage with singer Solbi and admitting that he’s liked her for 20 years.
