CJ ONSTYLE said on the 15th that it has opened a global mall showcasing K-lifestyle products and begun operations in the United States, Hong Kong and Singapore. The mall offers Korean products across categories including beauty, wellness, fashion and K-pop, and the company plans to expand the service to France, Japan and Taiwan within the year.
The mall features "Celeb Shop," a section offering products chosen to reflect celebrities' tastes. Actor Ha Ji-won is the first participant, selling items from the beauty brand Pouch24. The company also plans to pursue content collaborations with K-pop artists within the year.
CJ ONSTYLE is expanding partnerships with offline retailers overseas as well. In France, it plans to run shop-in-shop K-lifestyle outlets with E.Leclerc, a large retailer with more than 1,200 stores. In the United States, it plans to add stores now concentrated in the eastern region through a partnership with a K-beauty outlet chain. In Vietnam, the company will expand live commerce sales through Shopee Live and widen contact with local consumers through multi-brand beauty stores.
"Through a range of content on the global mall, we plan to help overseas customers experience K-lifestyle more easily and with greater familiarity," a CJ ONSTYLE official said.
