The San Francisco 49ers brought defensive tackle Naquan Jones back to the practice squad. The team released linebacker Eugene Asante as the corresponding move.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan said, ” Bosa can’t go today, but hopefully we’ll get him in tomorrow.”
Since the 49ers played on Monday, Shanahan said Wednesday’s practice will be a walkthrough.
Linebacker Dre Greenlaw returns to practice. As for wide receiver Christian Kirk, Shanahan said, “He had a good week of practice last week. He’ll be out there again today. Hopefully, he feels good at the end of the week.”
If Kirk can make it through a week of practice, it sounds like he’ll be activated to the roster.
It’d be surprising if Evans practiced at all. He’ll likely be a game-time decision.
