QQQI, an ETF tracking Nasdaq-100 stocks, recently attracted attention for its reported 14% dividend yield, as highlighted by CryptoTwitter commentator @Route2FI. This yield suggests that a $1,000,000 investment could yield approximately $140,000 annually in distributions. However, the focus on dividend yield raises questions regarding total returns and exposure to underlying market risks.
The Latest
The broader crypto market is currently displaying mixed signals, with varying momentum across key assets. QQQI, which utilizes an options strategy alongside holdings in Nasdaq-100 stocks, has sparked interest due to its high dividend yield. The ETF’s returns since inception have been about 19.9% annualized, which trails the 23.6% return of the Nasdaq-100 index, raising further questions about its long-term viability as a growth investment.
