Kendall Jenner brought a whimsical shoe to the 2026 Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday, where she wore a custom Valentino look.
Jenner opted for a black-and-white polka dot look from head-to-toe, extending the pattern even to her kitten heel pumps. The outfit played with the classic pattern by varying the size of the dots and inverting the color scheme. Her pumps were a white satin style with black polka dots; the silhouette featured a classic pointed toe, low vamp and kitten heel.
Meanwhile, Jenner wore a custom Valentino dress featuring a glossy white skirt with large black polka dots and a side slit. The strapless black bodice contrasted this, flipping the palette and featuring ruching which altered the appearance of the pattern.
The sixth annual Academy Museum Gala was held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Saturday night. Filmmaker and composer John Carpenter was honored with the Luminary Award his contributions to filmmaking, while Charlize Theron was also honored with the Icon Award and Colman Domingo was named the recipient of the Vantage Award.
While there was plenty of star power at the event, a performance from Grammy Award-winner Taylor Swift added a touch of pop star edge to the night. Presented in partnership with Rolex, the 2026 Academy Museum Gala co-chairs included Robert Rodriguez, Tom Ford, Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw.
