The shocking allegations triggered tensions between City Wardens and Railway Police departments, raising serious questions about police conduct, accountability and the alleged misuse of authority.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), road construction work has been underway for the past four months on the stretch between Natha Khan and Pehlwan Goth. Saim Imran was reportedly performing traffic management duties at the site when the incident took place.
FIR states that SHO Cantt Ahsan Rashid arrived at the location accompanied by other police personnel. The complaint alleges that the officers assaulted Imran, forcibly placed him inside a police mobile and took him to an undisclosed location.
In one of the most disturbing claims in the complaint, Imran alleges that he was tied up and subjected to severe physical torture at the undisclosed location. He further claims that, at the direction of senior officers, he was ordered to hold their feet and lick a shoe. According to his account, his refusal to comply was followed by such severe beatings that he lost consciousness.
Imran reportedly regained consciousness at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he found himself on a hospital bed. The allegations, if substantiated, could raise grave concerns about the treatment of public officials by law enforcement personnel and the accountability of those involved.

The case was registered at Shahrah-e-Faisal Police Station on the complaint of Saim Imran. However, according to police sources cited in the report, the FIR was allegedly sidelined after its registration. Police personnel were instructed not to take further action without approval from senior officials.
These claims have added another layer of controversy to the case, raising questions about whether the investigation is proceeding independently and whether those accused will face scrutiny.
So far, the allegations remain subject to investigation, and the claims against the named officers have not been independently established in the information available.
