Just like your LED face mask, the best LED neck masks can help reduce the appearance of sunspots, soften fine lines and wrinkles and even diminish muscle pain and soreness. LED masks are practically a mainstay in most skincare routines these days, but have you ever thought about extending the same care down to your neck? The neck, with its thinner, more fragile skin, is one of the first places to show ageing and sun damage, and so it makes sense not to neglect it.
Vogue’s pick of the best LED neck masks at a glance:
“The neck and décolletage are often the first places to show signs of ageing, as the skin here is thinner, more delicate, and exposed to daily UV and environmental stress,” says Laura Ferguson, co-founder of The Light Salon. “A dedicated neck LED device brings the same clinically proven wavelengths to an area that’s frequently overlooked, helping to restore smoothness, firmness, and luminosity where it’s most needed. It’s a gentle and very convenient way to keep the neck looking as supported and healthy as the face.”
With that in mind, we’ve rounded up seven of the best LED neck masks to try now for firmer, younger-looking skin.

FAQs
How do LED neck masks differ from face masks?
“The technology is the same, but the design is intentionally different,” explains Ferguson. “A neck LED mask is shaped to sit comfortably around the curves of the neck and upper chest. You’ll find the bulbs positioned to support firmness, enhance hydration, and even out tone. Concerns that tend to show up differently on the neck and décolletage than on the face.”
You use a neck LED mask at the same time as a face LED mask, according to the experts. In fact, “We encourage it,” adds Ferguson. “Using both devices together gives you a complete LED ritual, treating the face, neck, and décolletage in one calming session. It’s the most efficient way to build consistency and achieve even results.”
How often should you use a neck mask?
“For best results, we recommend using your neck LED 3 to 5 times per week, especially in the first six weeks,” says Ferguson. “LED works cumulatively, so regular, short sessions will always deliver more than the occasional long one. Once your skin feels stronger and more supported, you can ease into a 2-3 times per week maintenance routine, and increase again when you feel your skin needs a boost.”
How long does it take to see results?
Everyone’s skin responds at its own pace, but most people notice the treated area is calmer and brighter straight away, with improved texture and softness in around 4 weeks, according to Ferguson. As for visible changes to firmness and hydration, that comes at about 8 weeks, and you can expect long-term strengthening and brightness from 12 weeks onwards. “LED is wonderfully progressive, and results continue to build the more you use it,” she adds.
“LED is suitable for all skin types and tones, including sensitive skin,” says Ferguson. “We simply suggest avoiding use over open wounds and active infections. Those taking photosensitising medication, or with specific medical concerns, should check with a healthcare professional before beginning any new treatment. For most people, LED is a safe, gentle way to keep the neck looking healthy and cared for.”

How we test
To compile the Vogue edit of the best LED masks for the neck, the British Vogue beauty team paid close attention to the specs of each of these devices, what they are made out of (silicone or hard shell), how comfortable they are to use and their settings, to determine whether these are effective devices and whether they will legitimately be able to become part of your routine – because if they are cumbersome, you will not use them and consistency is key.
Why you can trust us
At Vogue, LED masks are our bread and butter. There is not a single red light device on the market that we haven’t road-tested – be it for the face, the hands, wands, panels or hair regrowth gadgets. It’s something of an obsession for our panel of testers, that include beauty contributors Georgia Day and Hannah Coates, as well as senior beauty shopping writer Ellie Davis and beauty and wellness editor Morgan Fargo.
