It's a busy week for the Royal Family, as they welcomed the Sultan of Oman and other guests from the nation as part of a three-day State Visit. While the royals in the spotlight have been the King and Queen, and Prince and Princess of Wales, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh has also been supporting the efforts quietly behind the scenes.
Following a formal welcome and carriage procession through Windsor, Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and other important visitors from Oman were invited to the Green Drawing Room at Windsor Castle. Inside the drawing room, a curated selection of items from the Royal Collection had been laid out for the guests to view, and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, joined the other royals as gracious host.

The Duchess was photographed in the drawing room with members of the Oman delegation, wearing a long sleeve wool dress for the occasion, in a deep shade of navy. The highlight of the look was the bow neckline, which is a trend for winter knits and stylish partywear.

Taking inspiration from Sophie's cosy bow-neck look, we've found not one but two Boden jumpers in the same style - and there's a total of five different colours to choose from. For something with a festive feel, you can't go wrong with red, while ivory or camel are staple neutral shades you can wear with just about anything.
The 'Bow Neck Knitted Jumper' is £85 and comes in three shades, while the 'Lydia Tie Neck Knitted Jumper' is £119 and is available in four colours:
The Oman State Visit last for three days, beginning on Tuesday 20 October. As is tradition, a State Dinner was held on the first evening, with the Royal Family in full formal dress for the occasion.
