In a ranked SEC matchup on Saturday night, No. 7 Ole Miss (5-1, 3-1) will be on the road visiting No. 19 Texas (4-2, 1-2 SEC) at Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium.
These are two teams headed in completely opposite directions. While Ole Miss has won back-to-back games in blow out fashion, Texas has lost back-to-back games. What makes this turn of events so shocking for Texas is that it came into the season as the No. 1 ranked team in the country.
The other glaring difference in the two teams is the quarterback play. Trinidad Chambliss is a Heisman hopeful, while Arch Manning has continued to underperform this season. Chambliss has accounted for 20 total touchdowns in six games.
Texas Head coach Steve Sarkisian said this week everything about the offense will be looked at and it was reported that backup KJ Lacey saw increased first-team reps in practice this week.
