Nigerian streamer Peller and his partner, Jarvis, have clashed over the involvement of the former in decisions concerning her younger sister’s streaming career and personal life.
The disagreement, captured in a video circulating on social media on Friday, October 23, 2026, saw the couple exchange words over family boundaries, personal independence and who should have the authority to influence the decisions of an adult.
The argument reportedly began after Peller expressed strong opinions about Jarvis’ younger sister and her activities as a streamer, prompting Jarvis to question why he was involving himself in her family affairs.
Jarvis challenges Peller’s involvement
During the exchange, Jarvis openly challenged Peller’s position, insisting that decisions concerning her younger sister were not his responsibility.
“What concern you and my sister? Leave her alone,” she told him.
Peller, however, maintained that he had the right to advise the younger woman on what she should do, insisting that he could tell her how to conduct herself.
“It’s me that will tell her what to do,” he said.
Jarvis rejected his position, arguing that her sister already had a father who could provide guidance on important matters concerning her life.
“She has a father,” she responded, questioning why Peller believed he should assume such a role in the younger woman’s affairs.
The exchange reflected the couple’s differing views on the extent to which a partner should be involved in decisions affecting members of the other person’s family.
Disagreement over sister’s adulthood
The argument also touched on the younger sister’s age and ability to make independent decisions.
Peller argued that she was no longer a child, noting that she was above 18 and should therefore be regarded as an adult.
“She’s not a child. She’s like an adult. She’s above eighteen,” he said.
However, the disagreement was not limited to whether the younger woman was old enough to make decisions for herself. It also centred on who should be entitled to advise her and the limits of such involvement.
Jarvis maintained that her sister should be allowed to make personal choices without undue interference from other people, including those who were not directly responsible for her upbringing.
Jarvis insists sister must choose her husband
The disagreement subsequently extended to the question of marriage, with Jarvis insisting that her younger sister should have the freedom to choose her future husband.
“She will decide who she wants to marry,” she said.
Jarvis also questioned whether Peller would be comfortable with another person attempting to control decisions involving members of his own family.
Drawing a comparison with his younger brother, she challenged him to consider whether he would accept someone else dictating the kind of decisions his relatives should make about their personal lives.
Her argument centred on the need to respect individual choices, particularly when the person concerned is an adult capable of making decisions about relationships and the future.
Streamer tells partner to focus on their child
As the exchange continued, Jarvis urged Peller to concentrate on their own family, reminding him that they were expecting a child together.
“Focus on your own child now. No need to be concerned about another adult. Leave her alone,” she said.
Her comments brought the argument back to the couple’s responsibilities as they prepare to welcome their baby.
The video did not establish whether the pair reached an agreement after the disagreement or whether Peller subsequently changed his position on his involvement in the younger sister’s affairs.
Tiwa Savage previously declared herself unborn child’s godmother
The disagreement comes as Peller and Jarvis prepare to welcome their child, a development that has featured in their recent public interactions.
On October 18, 2026, Peller reportedly gifted Afrobeats singer Tiwa Savage virtual gifts worth $3,000 during a livestream, expressing appreciation for an earlier experience in which the singer invited him to travel on her private jet.
During the interaction, Tiwa reportedly declared herself the godmother of the couple’s unborn child.
Peller, however, noted that they did not yet know the baby’s gender.
The latest disagreement has drawn attention to the couple’s differing positions on family involvement, personal autonomy and the boundaries partners should observe when dealing with each other’s relatives.
The video of the exchange has continued to circulate on social media, with the argument highlighting questions about the balance between offering advice to loved ones and respecting their right to make independent decisions.
