‘By the numbers’: Hicks approaching first 1K season
Lindhurst High's Chan Hicks averaged a near first down each time he touched it in last week's 43-14 win over Rio Vista. The junior back for the Blazers chewed up 102 yards on 11 carries and scored twice. With 802 yards on the season, Hicks is less than 200 away from his first varsity 1,000-yard season with three games left in the regular season. Hicks and Lindhurst are at Esparto Friday night.
