Heavy vehicles diverted via Mkg-Chare Road till Oct 29

MOKOKCHUNG, OCTOBER 12 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, has directed all heavy vehicles plying on the Mokokchung-Ungma-Tuensang Road (NH-202) to divert via the Mokokchung-Chare Road bypass from October 12 to 29. The travel advisory was issued in view of the 25th Dr T Ao Inter District Football Trophy to ensure public safety and smooth traffic management during the tournament. In an advisory, the DC directed all transport operators and heavy vehicle drivers to strictly comply with the diversion order. He also urged the public and all concerned to cooperate to ensure the smooth conduct of the tournament. The order came into effect on October 12 and will remain in force until October 29.
