Disney and Golden Goose have joined forces on a new capsule that brings Mickey & Friends into the Italian brand’s deliberately lived-in universe. Launching globally on October 13, the collection spans sneakers, ready-to-wear and accessories, with plenty of room for personalisation.

Naturally, the Super-Star leads the line-up. Golden Goose’s iconic sneaker is reimagined in vintage-inspired grey suede with a white leather star and Disney character artwork, available in men’s, women’s and kids’ sizes. Elsewhere, Mickey & Friends appear across a reversible oversized bomber, distressed sweatshirts, T-shirts, a polo, baseball caps and accessories, as well as kids ready-to-wear. Patches, pins, charms and embellished laces offer further ways to make the capsule your own.

The collaboration does not stop at printing familiar faces onto familiar clothes. Disney artists are joining Golden Goose for a global Co-Creation tour, visiting selected stores to add hand-drawn character designs directly to customers’ pieces. Guests can also receive live Mickey & Friends illustrations on co-branded cards.

Golden Goose’s Dream Makers will keep the DIY energy going with Disney-inspired workshops, from custom keychains and Mickey Mouse ears to illustrations pulled from a limited-edition comic book.

The tour will travel through 20 cities, including New York, Miami, Mexico City, Milan, Paris, London, Shanghai, Tokyo and Seoul, with activations running through early December.

For Highsnobiety Japan, actor Kotaro Daigo steps into the collection, bringing its dream-big premise to life in a dedicated editorial.
