Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has reaffirmed his administration’s position on the setback requirements for the ongoing Ibadan Circular Road project, insisting that the government will maintain the approved distances of 75 metres on both sides of built-up areas and 500 metres on both sides of underdeveloped areas.
The governor also promised that the state government would pay N6 billion in compensation to property owners affected by the project by the end of October 2026.
