Sana'a — Yemen's Houthi movement claimed on Thursday that it had carried out coordinated attacks targeting Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Defense in Riyadh and an Aramco facility in Yanbu, alongside an attack on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.
In a statement carried by Houthi-affiliated media, the group said the operations were conducted simultaneously and targeted strategic sites in the Kingdom. The Houthis claimed the attacks were part of their ongoing military campaign against Saudi targets.
The announcement came hours after Saudi authorities reported an attack on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam on Wednesday evening. According to the General Authority of Civil Aviation, the incident resulted in the death of one resident and injuries to eight others, with casualties ranging from minor to critical.
Saudi officials have not immediately confirmed the Houthi claims regarding attacks on the Ministry of Defense in Riyadh or the Aramco facility in Yanbu. Authorities are continuing to assess the damage and investigate the circumstances surrounding the reported incidents.
