In between all the drama unfolding in the battle for the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series championship, Front Row Motorsports made team history in Sunday’s Freeway Insurance 500 at Phoenix Raceway. For just the second time in the organization’s history, all three FRM cars finished inside the top 15.
Noah Gragson, driver of the No. 4 Ford, posted a 13th-place result. Behind Gragson was Todd Gilliland in 14th, piloting the No. 34 Ford. In 15th position was Zane Smith, behind the wheel of the No. 38 Ford.
The only other time all three FRM cars finished inside the top 15 was at Talladega last April. With the Cup Series returning to Talladega Superspeedway this weekend, FRM has some momentum heading into the final drafting track race of the campaign.

With three races remaining in the 2026 season, Gilliland ranks 23rd in the points standings. The driver of the No. 34 has posted two top-10 finishes with a best finish of sixth at Bristol in April. Gilliland was the winner of the second-ever In-Season Challenge, outlasting Ryan Blaney for the win in the finale at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Last July, it was announced that Gilliland will remain with FRM in 2027.
Smith sits 26th in the Cup Series standings with three races to go. The driver of the No. 38 has racked up two top-five finishes and six top-10 results, posting a best finish of fourth at Naval Base Coronado. The 27-year-old driver will return to FRM next year after signing a multi-year deal in 2025.
Gragson ranks 31st in the Cup Series points with three races left in the season. The driver of the No. 4 has also totaled two top-10 finishes and has a best finish of ninth at Talladega in April. While there was some uncertainty if Gragson would return to FRM next year, he silenced those doubts when he signed an extension last August.
The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Talladega Superspeedway this Sunday for the Yellawood 500. Coverage begins at 2 p.m. ET on NBC or the Motor Racing Network.
