Princess Rajwa is Kate Middleton's clone with Rapunzel curls and copycat dress

Royal fans have long drawn comparisons between Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan's wife Princess Rajwa and the Princess of Wales, thanks to their flowing brunette hair.

On Monday, Rajwa proved the similarities go even further as she stepped out in one of her fellow royal's favourite brands. The Jordanian royal joined her husband to mark the tenth anniversary of the Crown Prince Foundation in a navy Self-Portrait dress with a white frilled neckline, contrasting white cuffs, a belted waist and a drop hem.

Tying in the gold hardware of the £420 design, Rajwa accessorised with a metallic clutch and matching heels. She left her long hair loose in a side parting, styled in the same soft curls Princess Catherine often sports.

Princess Catherine's love of Self-Portrait

Self-Portrait is a contemporary label Catherine has turned to on multiple occasions in recent years, particularly favouring the brand's contemporary hybrid dresses that pair a tailored jacket with a fluid midi skirt for an effortless outfit.

For her Wimbledon appearance in 2025, she wore a white dress with an almost identical shape to Rajwa's, featuring a belt to cinch the waist, short sleeves and button detailing. While the white colour was a marked difference from Rajwa's more autumnal look, Catherine has also stepped out in numerous navy and white ensembles.

Her most famous was the Alessandra Rich polka dot dress with the bright white collar she wore at Bletchley Park in 2019. However, it is a colourway she has remained loyal to, forming the basis of her Suzannah London coat dress for the naming of HMS Glasgow in 2025 and her custom Givenchy look by Sarah Burton at the ANZAC Day commemorations in 2026.

Inside the Princess of Wales' fashion 'restraint'

Designer Amanda Wakeley OBE previously told HELLO! that Catherine carefully selects the colour, silhouette, designer and accessories for each outing, knowing she's on the world stage.

"She understands the influence she carries and uses fashion to support that role rather than overshadow it. There's a clarity and restraint in how she presents herself, which gives her choices a quiet authority," Amanda said.

"I think she uses fashion with clear intention, but never in a way that feels calculated for its own sake. It comes across as instinctive and grounded in a strong understanding of both her role and the language of clothing," Amanda says.
