As part of the initiative, the company has handed over claim cheques to customers in Chattogram, Cumilla, Mymensingh, Chandpur, Noakhali, Narayanganj and other parts of the country, according to a press release issued today (18 October).
The company said customers are receiving their entitled claim amounts through separate programmes held in different regions.

Rinku said customer satisfaction should be achieved through honesty, hard work and professionalism.
He expressed hope that prompt and proper settlement of insurance claims, along with collective efforts, would help Popular Life become a pioneer in the country's insurance sector.
B M Yusuf Ali said insurance plays an important role in providing financial protection against uncertainties and that the company is working to ensure transparency, accountability and timely settlement of customers' claims.
He said the nationwide cheque distribution programme reflected the company's commitment to its customers.
He added that settling claims as promised was crucial to maintaining public confidence in insurance companies. Popular Life is working to improve the quality of its services by standing beside customers when needed and ensuring that they receive their entitled payments on time.
Customer confidence plays an important role in the expansion and sustainable development of Bangladesh's insurance sector. Timely fulfilment of the financial protection promised when a policy is purchased is one of the key conditions for maintaining that confidence once a claim is made.
Life insurance claims, in particular, are often linked to families' savings, children's education and emergency financial needs.
Reducing delays in claim settlement, simplifying procedures, maintaining effective communication with customers and paying due amounts in accordance with policy terms are therefore important for strengthening confidence in the sector.
Beyond distributing cheques, ensuring that all eligible claims are settled transparently and within the stipulated time, as well as resolving customer complaints effectively, is also important for restoring confidence in the insurance sector.
Popular Life described its nationwide claim settlement programme as an initiative reflecting its focus on customer service. The company said maintaining the practice of settling claims as promised could help strengthen customer confidence and contribute to the development of the country's insurance sector.
According to the press release, claim cheques have been distributed in Chattogram, Cumilla, Mymensingh, Chandpur, Noakhali, Narayanganj, Brahmanbaria, Feni, Gazipur, Nawabganj, Bogura, Rangpur, Khulna, Satkhira, Jashore, Narail, Shariatpur, Barishal, Patuakhali and Bhola, among other areas.
Popular Life Additional Managing Directors B M Shawkat Ali and Mostafa Helal Korib, Senior Deputy Managing Director Syed Motahar Hossain, and Deputy Managing Directors Md Kamal Hossain Mohsin and Mohammad Khalilur Rahman Sikder, along with other senior officials, attended the cheque distribution programmes.
