When it comes to her street style, Zoë Kravitz understands the concept of “less is more.” Like fellow fashion mavens such as Jennifer Lawrence and the Olsen twins, Kravitz errs on the minimalist side, letting small pops of color or statement pieces do the heavy lifting—whether that’s a grape-colored scarf, a nostalgic Barney’s tee, or a pair of sporty short-shorts.
On Sunday, the Blink Twice director turned to her understated formula once again for a day out in New York City with her boyfriend and stylistic partner-in-crime, Harry Styles.

Harry Styles and Zoë Kravitz are seen in New York City on October 18.
For the casual outing, the pair bundled up in moody outerwear, with Kravitz giving a lesson in masterful layering.
While we’re entering the season in which our coats will likely conceal the top half of our outfits, but The Studio star found the perfect loophole to that. Here, she wore a long, flowy white blouse underneath a cropped chocolate bomber, and the shirt was just oversize enough that it spilled out from underneath the jacket like a delicate miniskirt. (Perhaps she borrowed the top from Styles’s closet—it wouldn’t be the first time the two have seemingly swapped staples.) The shirt flowed over a pair of black trousers, creating a fun stack and leaning into the skirt-over-pants trend.
For a finishing touch, Kravitz accessorized with a pair of oval-shaped sunglasses.
Styles, meanwhile, kept a similarly low profile in a navy hoodie and joggers, which he paired with sneakers, visor-style shades, and his gray “Techno Is My Boyfriend” baseball cap.
If their past looks involving scarves, beanies, and smart layers are any indication, fall is where this couple thrives.
