Jack Johnson Santiago Concert on 10 February 2027

CHILE · CONCERTS

The Jack Johnson Santiago concert is set for Wednesday 10 February 2027 at the arena in Parque O’Higgins, formerly the Movistar Arena. It is a chance for US fans to see a Hawaii-born surf-folk star in the middle of the Chilean summer.

Tickets for the Jack Johnson Santiago night go through Puntoticket, the arena’s only official seller, from US$43 to US$114 with fees included. The singer plays Buenos Aires five days earlier, so a South American trip is easy to plan.

Who Jack Johnson Is and Why This Show Matters

Jack Johnson is an American singer-songwriter born in Hawaii, known for relaxed acoustic songs and a surfer’s outlook. The Clinic, a Chilean outlet, says he has sold more than 25 million records worldwide.

His catalogue includes eight studio albums and three live albums. Fans will expect classics such as “Better Together” and “Sitting, Waiting, Wishing”.

The tour behind the Santiago date is called SURFILMUSIC, like his documentary about his path from surfer to filmmaker to musician. He scored it with the Hermanos Gutiérrez duo, and the film and soundtrack came out on Friday 15 May 2026.

On stage, Johnson is joined by Adam Topol, Merlo Podlewski and Zach Gill, according to the Chilean broadcaster 24horas. The Jack Johnson Santiago show is billed as a celebration of two decades in music and surf.

Chilean outlet El Dínamo counts this as his fourth visit to Chile. The artist’s tour page also lists Buenos Aires on Friday 5 February and Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday 16 February 2027.

The Venue and How to Get There

The Jack Johnson Santiago show takes place inside Parque O’Higgins, a large public park in central Santiago, at Avenida Beauchef 1204. It carried the Movistar name for years, and Banco Santander took over the naming rights in September 2026.

CNN Chile reports the new name was presented on Saturday 5 September 2026. Tickets and listings may still say Movistar Arena, so treat both names as the same building.

CNN Chile puts the maximum capacity at about 15,500 people, depending on the stage layout. The operator, Arena Santiago, is controlled by Live Nation, according to the same report.

The simplest route is the Santiago Metro, Line 2, to the Parque O’Higgins station, a short walk from the arena. Ride-hailing apps and regulated taxis also work, but expect traffic around the park after the show.

Cars enter only with a prior parking ticket sold through Puntoticket, at the gate on Avenida Viel or Tupper street. Pedestrians enter from the Parque O’Higgins Metro side or from Tupper street.

Tips for US and Foreign Visitors

For the Jack Johnson Santiago trip, US citizens need no visa for tourist stays up to 90 days, the State Department says. Your passport must be valid for the whole stay and have a blank page for the entry stamp.

On arrival you receive a Tourist Card, which you must hand back when you leave. At the arena, the venue asks for your ticket plus an ID card or passport.

The State Department rates Chile Level 2, exercise increased caution, in its advisory of 19 August 2026. It names crime, unrest and health as the main risks.

The arena bans bottles, food, drinks, umbrellas and professional cameras, and every fan passes a security check. Use regulated taxis with orange or yellow plates, or a legal ride-hailing app.

Chile has frequent earthquakes, and wildfires peak from December to March, the State Department says. Follow SENAPRED, the national disaster agency, and obey local instructions.

Demonstrations can happen with little notice and often disrupt buses and the Metro. Check the situation on the day, and keep the US Embassy number, +56 2 2330 3000, in your phone.

Santiago is large, so a hotel near a Metro line makes the trip home after the show easier. For city costs and areas to stay, see our Santiago expat guide and our Chile safety guide for expats.
