At least two people, including a mother and her son, were killed and three others injured after a speeding car ran them over on the main Hyderabad-Badin Road on Sunday, according to a police source.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred at Dokiya Wah Mere bus stop, where passengers were waiting for a van. Suddenly, a speeding car approached and ran over the waiting passengers, killing two people, including a mother and her son, and injuring three others.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, while the bodies of the deceased were sent for post-mortem. Police apprehended the car driver and took the vehicle into custody for further investigation.
