The GCC has also made arrangements to provide the families with three meals a day, drinking water and sanitation facilities, taking into account their basic needs.
Officials from the Community Development Department, zonal and divisional staff, engineering officials and police personnel were present. The Community Development Department would continue to take measures to ensure the safety, basic needs and dignity of the families living on the streets, the release said.
