The victim was rushed to a hospital, where doctors are providing medical treatment, the regional administration said in an official Telegram statement.
The incident underscores the continuing danger posed by Russian mines and unexploded ordnance in southern Ukraine, where civilians remain exposed to explosive hazards long after the fighting has moved elsewhere.
Russian mines have injured or killed 1,739 civilians, including 178 children, since the start of Moscow’s full-scale invasion in February 2022.
